This position requires the Respiratory Therapist to be proficient in the treatment of respiratory disorders for inpatients and outpatients with various types of media, i.e., oxygen and other therapeutic gases and mist inhalation equipment. This position also requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relating to the field of Cardio-Pulmonary Sciences. Interpretive skills,
frequent interactive and consultative association is inherent in this position. The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is by the spoken work. Written, telephone and manual dexterity skills are required for this position.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience in Respiratory Care procedures or similar experience in nursing or paramedic preferred. New Graduates welcome!
