Troy Regional has named Paige Myers, a 20-year healthcare veteran, administrator of physician services. Myers, a native of Wetumpka, has served in a similar position at Baptist Health in Montgomery for the past five years.
In her new position, Myers is responsible for the oversite of outpatient practices. There are currently 10 clinics, including primary care, orthopedic surgery, hematology/oncology, wound care, gynecology and ENT.
“We are fortunate to add Paige to our administrative team with her extensive experience in managing primary care, behavioral health and wound care practices in addition to working in other healthcare-related areas,” said CEO Rick Smith.
Myers and her husband, Randal, have a history in Troy and the surrounding communities. Randal Myers came to Troy University in 1974 where he was a music major. He was drum major of the “Sound of the South” band (1978 and 1979) and the band director at Zion Chapel High School for six years. From there he became the campus minister for the Collegedale Church of Christ until 2001.
“I am very excited about this new opportunity to work with Troy Regional, Myers said. “Randal and I lived in Troy when we first married and have so many wonderful memories of this area. It is truly like coming home.”
