Troy Regional is pleased to announce that Michael Williams, DO, a board-certified family physician with more than 20 years of experience, has joined its primary care team.

Dr. Williams joins the team at Troy Primary Care alongside Cortne Benton, CRNP.

Dr. Williams comes to Troy Regional from Daleville, Ala., where he built a strong reputation for providing compassionate, patient-centered care. He earned his medical degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Cuyahoga Falls Osteopathic Hospital.

“Troy Regional is committed to working with our primary care community to ensure care is accessible to residents throughout Pike County and the surrounding communities,” said Rick Smith, CEO of Troy Regional.  “We are grateful for the growth with last year’s addition of Pike Internal Medicine and now Dr. Williams.”

“We are excited to have a primary care physician with such a strong reputation join our team,” said Paige Myers, Administrator of Physician Services. “Many of Dr. Williams’ previous patients have made appointments with him in Troy, and we are pleased to welcome them as new patients.”

Dr. Williams and all Troy Regional primary care providers are currently accepting new patients. Troy Primary Care, Pike Internal Medicine, Brundidge Primary Care and Elba Primary Care offer comprehensive health services for individuals and families of all ages.
