Troy, Ala. – Dec. 3, 2025 – Troy Regional reached the $750,000 threshold for donations as part of the state’s Alabama Rural Hospital Investment Program
Troy Regional met the cap just 13 minutes after the program launched on Jan. 5, thanks to local businesses and supporters.
The tax incentive program gave 52 rural hospitals across Alabama the chance to raise $750,000 from individuals, industries, and businesses to support needs and better serve their markets.
Troy Bank and Trust was one of several businesses that helped contribute to Troy Regional.
“Troy Bank and Trust is honored to take part in this program and to stand behind the incredible work happening at Troy Regional,” said John Ramage, Chief Administrative Officer of Troy Bank and Trust.
“This effort reflects our mission to create economic opportunity and support growth across the communities we serve. It will help Troy Regional continue to thrive and meet the needs of the people who rely on it. Our long-standing relationship with Troy Regional is something we deeply value, and we look forward to continuing that partnership for decades to come,” added Ramage.
Collin McCrary, a long-time Troy resident and local financial advisor, is excited about the impact this program can have.
“The Alabama Tax Credit Program directs tax payments back to our hospital and will make a huge difference for local health care,” said McCrary. “Our hospital is a vital part of keeping residents here and is very important for economic growth in Troy and Pike County.”
Rick Smith, CEO of Troy Regional, is thankful for the local support of this program.
